Jeffrey L. Linza

Messages of Condolence

Mary and family, please accept our heartfelt condolences.  Jeff was the nicest guy, I've been storing our boat with you for 14 years or so and Jeff just makes you feel so at ease.  He was truly a gentle giant of a man.  He will be sorely missed.

Your empty chair symbolic of our empty hearts.
So on we go
His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there
For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Linza at a family wedding.  His personality was larger than life, and his joyful spirit was contagious.  He was such a good man.  Warm thoughts and prayers to his wonderful family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Sorry I cannot be there but know you understand why.  I loved this big teddy bear.  He was my kind of person.  Love to all.

I'm so sad for my family, but selfishly thankful that I was able to spend some time and catch up a little with Jeff in October a year ago.  My prayers are with Uncle Harley and Aunt Phyllis along with Paula, Brenda, Pam and Jeff's immediate family.  I love you all and am so sorry for your loss.  You're all in my prayers.

Words cannot express my deep sorrow for Jeff's family.  Loss is never easy but remember the good times and take it day by day.  His light now shines in the stars above and will guide you.  He has just moved to another room.  He is still close to you!  I wish for you God's comfort and peace.

To Jeff's family, I'm in shock hearing about Jeff?  I can't believe that this has happened and what a great guy to have been in my life!  I'm so sorry that I can't be there Saturday but would like to come down and see Jeff's family.  From the time we first met as freshman at Marshall to when we played for America's original team, THE BLENDERS to working with Jeff at Kodak.  He truely was a gentle giant unless he was behind the plate catching for Harley!!!  Me at 3rd, Jeff catching and Harley pitching no one and I mean no bunted on us EVERRRR!!!!!!!!  Mary, please get a hold of me as I have stories (good ones) that I would like to share with his kids and grankids.  I'll come down there and see ya all.  God bless ya all and Jeff, save a place at 3rd for me up there.  RIP my great friend and I'll miss ya!  I owe ya buddy!!

Mary and family our deepest sympathy.  Eric will always remember the fishing trip with Jeff, Gene, our dad and others and the fun they all had.  Especially the stories that made us all laugh.  I will always remember how sweet he was.  May your memories make you smile and bring you comfort in this difficult time.
